Production Studio Projects

Production Studio and Control Room projects can be some of more complicated and demanding of all integration projects. These types of rooms usually deal with the latest a/v formats with higher specification demands, the size of these system can also be daunting, containing banks of equipment, head-end players/recorders, large matrix signal routing and more. Add to that, and the users of these types of systems are usually of a more technical type that needs more advanced capabilities in their control system requirements, and these types of integration projects can quickly get complicated. MPSAV can help make the system interface as user friendly as possible and still deliver the more advanced, feature rich requirements the end-users demand in their Studio or control room system.

Studio Control Room Portfolio:

Production Studio / Control Room: This client's system is truely elaborate, this control room can broadcast and record meetings from any of 3 conference rooms or the dedicated TV Studio space. The touch panel controls all video matrix routing on a 128x128 HD-SDI matrix switcher, and audio matrix routing on 5 chained Media Matrix DSP units. The system also handles all control of 10 Sony HD PTZ cameras located in the meeting rooms, both on the touch panel, and via a Crestron camera control joystick programmed into the system. In addition, this clients entire site was programmed and integrated with Crestron's RoomView to control remotely via web-browser control from anywhere on the client's network. The touch panel also controls functions in the remote meeting rooms, including video conferencing and bi-directional audio/video feeds between the meeting spaces and the control room. Production Studio / Control Room: This control room can broadcast and record events from from a large gymnasium/auditorium type space. The touch panel controls all video matrix routing on 4 seperate matrix switchers that feed a Kayak production switcher. The system also handles all control of 3 Sony HD PTZ cameras located in the meeting rooms. The touch panel also controls functions in the remote meeting rooms, including video conferencing, dual audio-conference dialers, playback and recording decks, and control of the PA audio system via a DSP system in tandem with a audio mix board. The system features 3 large venue Christie projectors using a Christie Spider video wall processor to blend the production switcher outputs across the 3 large projected displays. Ballroom / Event Center: This control room is for a combinable ballroom event space. The touch panel is used for easy wireless microphone assignment to various areas, and also allow the override of automatic audio handling to be passed to a full mixing console when manual audio control is desired. A video presentation system is also controlled from the touch panel along with environment controls like lighting and window covering controls. Auditorium Control Room: This control room can control and record events from from a large divisable auditorium type space. The touch panel controls all video matrix routing within the 2 rooms. The touch panel also controls all functions in the remote meeting rooms, including video conferencing, dual audio-conference dialers, playback and recording decks, and control of the PA audio system via a DSP system. The system features 3 front screen projectors each capable of displaying independent sources.
